2025 NEC Leadership Grants Applications must be submitted no later than January 29, 2025
This program was designed to support NEC members who are committed to advancing their knowledge, network, and career development but are not able to attend in person learning events due to budgetary constraints.
Eligible 2025 Events:
- 97th Annual AAAE Conference & Exposition / June 8-10, 2025 / Atlanta, GA
- NEC Airports Conference, Hershey, PA / March 3-5, 2025
- NEC International Aviation Snow Symposium, Buffalo, NY / April 25 - 30, 2025
- NEC Annual Conference, Baltimore, MD / August 10-12, 2025
- F. Russell Hoyt National Airports Conference / September 28-30, 2025 / Salt Lake City, UT
- Loretta Scott, A.A.E. Accreditation/Certification Academy
March 16-21 / Dallas May 12-16 / Denver July 6-11 / Denver November 2-7 / Alexandria December / Alexandria
Each Professional Development Grant Includes:
- Flights to/from the event
- Hotel lodging during the event
- Complimentary registration for the event
Recipients are Responsible for:
- Transportation to/from the airport/hotel
- Meals not included with the event
- Hotel incidentals (room service, mini bar, tips, etc.)
- Enrollment or program fees (Accreditation/Certification Academies and Review Courses)
Eligibility Requirements:
- Be an NEC Member in good standing
- Submit a complete application, including a letter of recommendation from a supervisor who is authorized to approve travel.

- Applications are now being accepted!
- Applications must be received by close of business on February 9, 2024. Only complete applications will be considered.

Note: These professional development grant payments in the form of expense reimbursement, complimentary conference registration, and/or direct travel arrangements will be reimbursed to the recipient upon completion of the awarded opportunity once travel receipts are turned in.
